I am planning to have some additional storage cabinet in my kitchen. Will it be advisable to buy some knock down and do it on my own, or hire someone to do it for me?

It totally depends on if you are handy and can do this? I know we are planning on ripping apart our kitchen and redoing it- We are even going to make the cupboards (with a friend). My sig other is a mason and also took carpentry classes in college. If you feel like you can do it- give it a shot- it will be cheaper this way.

I agree with Krisny. It will be cheaper if you do it yourself. Why not give it a try? It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to do.

The kitchen is a very important part of the house for me and it needs to look great. Thats why we hired a pro when we added some cabinets to our kitchen a few months back.

It depends upon your skills. I would employ someone for doing this instead of mine. Since kitchen is an important part of house it would be wise to employ someone in order to protect its attractiveness.
