Hello,
I am on the 8 week tiling package, and recently completed week 1, the intensive course.
I was impressed by the professionalism of both instructors; Max and Terry, and their enthusiasm for their trade.
I am looking forward to the end of June to do the advanced course and City and Guilds back to back. Going to be a busy 9 days!
I was a little worried before the course because I am not naturally very practical, and I need to ask a lot of questions to sink things in. I also didn't have a clue about tiling, but it didn't matter at all because both instructors were always available to help. They went over anything I was unsure of. I finished the course confident in my abilities, a little slow, but neat.
I have lots of offers of work already, but I have told them to wait till the 8 weeks is finished, so I can build a portfolio towards NVQ 2.
I am very happy to recommend Able Skills, and once I am finished with Tiling I will be looking at another complete package. Perhaps Plastering or Painting and Decorating. I will also be using Able Skills for my resettlement once I leave the Army in the next 3 years or so.
So thanks to Max and Terry,
See you on the 27th June.
Matthew
