How can I choose a focal point in my living room. My room has none of these and all I could have is a room with a big window. Any suggestions on how to choose a focal point in living room.

Do you have a fireplace? If so , this could be your focal point. If not, pick a wall and put a collage on it to make a focal point.

My focal point was the fire place until my husband went out and bought a huge television that is so big it takes all the attention away from the fireplace itself.
What about installing a fire place or something living like a fish tank or something. You could even dress that big window up really well to focus on the view as a focal point.
