I have the whole of an old barn ceiling to plaster which is all the 44 panels between the old oak rafters and purlins. I've fixed plaster board to the top of the rafters and want to spend the next couple of weeks inside doing the plastering between the rafters before building a modern and well insulated new roof structure over the existing one once the weather improves.
The old roof has a layer of Tri-iso and is protected from the elements. I am concerned that there may be a danger to my plaster work when later I start banging about on the new roof structure fixing battens and slates.
All advise appreciated from anyone who really knows.(G)
Thanks
Richard
