We are toying with the idea of pulling out all of the concrete surfaces around our home and replacing them with pavers.

Of course, we have to do this a little at a time because pavers are pricey and it takes a lot of effort to install them properly, but we know of no other options. Where we live, freezing weather alternates with warmer days during the cooler months, and concrete always cracks.

Are there other flexible hardscape products that could replace concrete?

You can use an edge restraint instead of a concrete .Edge restraint is the easiest, most effective affordable system for installing interlocking concrete and brick paver projects.

Special cements are available that cure at faster rates (hydrate at a more increased heat) to avoid cracking if you use a cement based search engine you should find a suitable product.A reasonable alternative to pavers is slabbing the area and maybe having a paver border to break up the appearance.Syrup screeding is also an option although quite expensive.
