ceiling edges

When boarding and skimming only the ceiling of a room, is it enough to make sure the board is nice and tight against the walls or do I still need to tape it?
If so, how?

when boarding a ceiling and you are not going to skim the walls you do not put fibre tape around the angles you keep them as neat as possible and brush them in :)
