Painting the tile

We are remodeling a bathroom and have ceramic tile on the walls in the shower enclosure.

We do not want to have to go through all the work of replacing the tile. We were wondering whether we could paint it.

I don't know if paint will stick on tile. I would go to Home Depot or Lowes and ask if they have a paint that works on tile. It is a great idea if will work.

I would go ask as well. You would not want to buy any kind of paint and have it come off in the shower when the water is on. It would be costly and probably plug the drains too.
I bet they might have a paint for tiles.

I would double check on the feasibility depending upon the surface of the tile's material. Some paint may work, some won't...

I have seen some bathrooms where people painted over the tiles. IMHO is looks really bad.
