What do you think is better.....painting with little amounts of paint on the brush and doing lots of coats, or painting with lots on the brush and not having to do lots of coats? Or does it all even out in the end?
My husband and I disagree on this all the time! Just wanted to hear your thoughts.

I would go with painting with little amounts of paint on the brush and doing lots of coats because only experts can go for the other option which can also prove costly if a mistake is made.

That is true. It can run easier if you use too much paint on the brush too.

I agree--- plus you are more apt to dribble on the floor if you have to much on your roller. I hate it when you get too much and start to roll the roller and it comes out the side. It's a mess!
I go for less on the bruch and roller as well with more coats.

I tend to like the pads rather than rollers to paint with . There is way too much splatter with the rollers.

It is also a pity to waste paint as you would throw away your money this way.

Several thin coats is the way to go. the paint stays better and you don't get drips.
I own an apartment building so I repaint frequently. I always use rollers and never have a problem with splatter.. but remember slow and steady wins the race!

I tend to do the little bit of paint, lots of coats method, while my husband literally throws the paint on the wall! That is one reason why I am the one who always re-paints inside the house.
